The Senior Networking Solutions Architect is an expert in secure networking technology. This role involves consulting with clients and working with internal teams to create strategies and designs for complex solutions that meet clients' needs. The architect provides deep knowledge in networking, cybersecurity, and data centers to offer comprehensive solutions from edge to cloud. They ensure the solutions meet business needs and understand the services required for implementation and ongoing support and management.

In This Role You Will :

  • Contribute to the development of complex solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure or functional areas.
  • Maintain advanced solutions and technical certifications with core partners including Cisco, HPE / Aruba, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks.
  • Develop clear networking solution designs and proposals for client consumption, highlighting the benefits of selected technologies in terms of cost, risk, and future readiness for AI.
  • Understand the NTT DATA service catalog and position NTT DATA services within solutions, including professional, support, and managed services where applicable.
  • Align networking technology solutions with client budgets, leveraging experience in various commercial models such as CAPEX and OPEX.
  • Identify and qualify potential client opportunities with sales teams and client executives, ensuring resource investment is justified.
  • Drive client conversations to identify new opportunities based on technology lifecycle activities like modernization and refresh initiatives.
  • Evaluate alternative architectures and trade-offs in cost, performance, and scalability.
  • Produce specifications for cloud-based or on-premises components, tiers, and interfaces for detailed design translation.
  • Support change programs through technical planning and design principles adhering to enterprise standards.
  • Understand client requirements, analyze data, and resolve problems effectively.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to gather intelligence.
  • Create reports, technology roadmaps, and share insights with stakeholders.
  • Design components using appropriate modeling techniques following standards and patterns.
  • Create multiple design views to address stakeholder concerns and functional/non-functional requirements, including proofs of concept.
  • Review and verify own designs for compliance with specifications.
  • Recommend development of new market services and contribute expertise on relevant verticals.
  • Develop holistic solutions across technical and value chain levels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key technology partners.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to less experienced solutions architects.

Knowledge and Attributes :

  • Advanced knowledge of multi-vendor service integrations, software, OS, and infrastructure designs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure and application software deployment methodologies.
  • Ability to develop and leverage reference architectures and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams such as sales, product, and delivery.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, business, or related field.

Required Experience :

  • Minimum of five years of industry experience in networking, with deep knowledge of Cisco, HPE Aruba, Juniper, and significant experience in digital infrastructure modernization.
  • Experience selling within healthcare is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in designing, deploying, operating, automating, and supporting large-scale network environments.
  • Project or program management experience is preferred.
  • Client engagement and consulting experience, including needs assessment and change management.
  • Experience integrating solutions considering business, industry standards, and best practices.
