Sr. Mechanical Engineer - Flex : Job Details

We are seeking to add a Mechanical Development Engineer to our team. Responsible for designing, validating, and implementing innovative and cost-effective product solutions of complex scope to support the organization in prototype development through full-scale production. What a typical day looks like:Apply complex design practices and procedures to assigned product portfolio in areas like sheet metal design/ fabrication, soft tooling process and equipment; Telecom infrastructure products such as chassis, cabinets, racks, etc. Integrate multiple elements of finished design (such as backplane/ interconnect power distribution, thermal management). Work with other members of the development team to support corporate design initiatives. Prepare recommendations for production and technology roadmaps that supports customer expectations. Support actively customer base with design improvements that enhance manufacturability and assembly while minimizing costs.
