Sr. Mechanical Engineer - Advantech : Job Details

Job Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer Location(s): Blue Ash, OH - Onsite About this position: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with hands-on experience designing and developing enclosures for computer systems and cabinets for control systems. They should be proficient in enclosure design, component and wiring layout, and have strong skills in CAD software. Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing mechanical components and systems
• Creating enclosure designs for various computer-based products
• Layout of components and wiring for optimal performance
• Create and maintain technical documentation, and System level BOMs
• Utilizing CAD software to create and modify designs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Perform testing and analysis to ensure product quality
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical controls engineering, control wiring layout, and enclosure design
• Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
