  • Design, develop, and improve mechanical systems, components, tools, and fixtures for automotive production lines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Production, R&D) to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
  • Monitor production processes and equipment performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in the installation, calibration, and validation of new production machinery or automation systems.
  • Analyze production data to enhance throughput, reduce downtime, and maintain quality standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for mechanical failures.
  • Participate in new product introductions by supporting tooling, line layout, and mechanical integration.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation including SOPs, technical drawings, and reports.
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance strategies in coordination with the maintenance department.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (required).
  • 3+ years of experience in a mechanical or manufacturing engineering role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation.
  • Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as stamping, welding, injection molding, and assembly.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with PLCs, robotics, and automotive production standards (a plus).
