Job Title: Sr Mechanical Analysis Engineer

Job Location: Novi, MI (Hybrid 2-3 days a week onsite)

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay Range: $55 - $60 / hourly + Benefits

Job Description :

What you will be doing

• Perform component trade studies for new and existing hardware, create and review functional and physical interfaces, and generate analysis requirements for enclosure.
• Collaborate with electronics engineering to develop enclosures that jointly meet electronic and mechanical requirements and guidelines
• Support creation of detailed drawings and model-based definition and support project/manufacturing to procure conforming hardware
• Orchestrate Technical Review/Design Review and communicate solutions with the project/customer: develop technical presentations and associated technical reports in the delivery of solutions
• Assure compliance with applicable product certification requirements (i.e. RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD-810)

Preferred Requirements

• Gas turbine experience (not mandatory)
• Experience with mechanical enclosure design and analysis
• Experience with Siemens NX and ANSYS tools
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience with thermal and vibration analysis

Basic Requirements:

• Engineering Degree (preferably a BS in a STEM discipline so it can apply to more than one role within the evergreen requisitions) with a minimum 5 years of experience OR MS in STEM with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
