This role provides Agile DevOps support to mission-critical systems by designing, developing, and implementing applications utilizing MarkLogic databases and participating in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.Responsibilities:• Design and develop solutions integrating MarkLogic with existing enterprise platforms and systems.• Develop and direct software system validation and testing methods using Junit and Katalon.• Develop and integrate custom software solutions leveraging automated deployment technologies; while supporting the Agile software development lifecycle following Program SAFe practices.• Analyze (though proof of concept, performance, and end-to-end testing) and effectively coordinate Infrastructure needs driven by developed software to meet customer mission needs.Qualifications:Required:• 4+ years of hands-on application development utilizing the MarkLogic framework.• Strong analytical and design skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into efficient and effective technical designs within large-scale, well-structured enterprise environments.• Significant experience in the development of service-oriented architecture applications.• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns.• Significant experience implementing the MarkLogic java-client-api within an enterprise application.• Significant experience with Java and data processing, manipulation or querying (SQL and NoSQL).• Bachelors with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Masters with 6 or more years of relevant experience. Will consider work experience in lieu of a degree.• TS/SCI with a polygraph is required for consideration.Preferred:• Experience developing in or deploying to AWS.Company:Leidos is a Fortune 500 innovation company rapidly addressing the world's most vexing challenges in national security and health.
