Sr. Manufacturing Engineer - Eaton Corporation, plc : Job Details

Serve as an active member of the GEIS B-Line Manufacturing Engineering team, fulfilling leadership duties and providing input for strategy, direction & continuous improvement by leveraging the Eaton Leadership Competencies and Attributes and Lean Tools. - Develop strategic plans to identify and address current and future challenges for department & plant around engineering and maintenance processes. - Participate in and help execute Manufacturing improvement strategies around footprint optimization, automation, constraints management and product growth in coordination with Product Line Managers. - Prepare capital and operating cost estimates for new products and changes in existing products by estimating equipment, tooling, and gauging Investment. - Determines machine production rates and manning requirements. - Lead formulation of manufacturing documentation, fabrication drawings, process sheets, control plans and tool layouts.
