Position SummaryThe Senior Manager, SIOP will be responsible for overall leadership, coordination and communication of the SIOP process for Pumps America. The role will work closely with supply chain, planning, sales, operations and product management for each business to build a robust SIOP process which will maximize the link between customer demand and material supply. This position will also work closely with the CIRCOR global Supply Chain leadership to drive a low-cost supply base, have engagement in supply chain initiatives and development of material planning strategy within Distributed Valves.
- Owner of the SIOP process within CIRCOR Pumps America
- Work with CIRCOR corporate, group & Pumps America leadership on improvement of the SIOP process
- Work with all Pumps America plants
- Anticipate and drive correction of schedule attainment problems with Supply Chain from causes such as vendor shortages and customer changes
- Work with Pumps America Plant Managers, Materials Managers, and Commercial Operations to develop and maintain the forecast and master schedule within capacity constraints, and in support of the operating plan, to achieve on-time shipments to customers
- Support and expand on all opportunities to level load the plan to drive improvements in inventory, fulfillment, cycle time, capacity management and growth
- Review established production schedules for all manufacturing departments to insure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible.
- Provide strong interface between Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial Operations to reduce all costs and cycle times to determine line rates, including 12-month planning horizons
- Develop plan to assure inventory targets are achieved
- Works with team to develop materials management strategies which ensure the achievement of procurement and inventory objectives.
- Manages inventory to optimum levels, including just in time programs where feasible.
- Researches and analyzes areas for improvement within PAM supply chain. Works with VP Operations to evaluate and implement chosen solutions.
- Audits MRP system integrity for areas of department and/or individual responsibility as defined by company or department guidelines.
- Design methods and policies ensuring most efficient and economical movement of all materials in and out of facilities.
- Analyzes and evaluates inventory and delivery problems and recommends solutions.

Candidate RequirementsKnowledge Skills & Abilities
- Strong MRP skills and disciplines
- Strong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point and/or Access) to analyze data and trends.
- Previous experience with master scheduling, capacity planning, inventory management and procurement
- Excellent interpersonal communication and listening ability.
- A strong ability to be adaptable and flexible.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes in a team environment.
- Highly motivated, results oriented, driven.
- Must demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Education & Experience
- A minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Business/Finance/Management/Operations or other related field.
- 5+ years progressive experience in sales and operations planning roles
- Experience in inventory, planning and purchasing management
- Experience with world-wide sourcing
