The integrated full-service solutions leverage a 97-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter.SummaryThe Sr Manager supports the executive team with financial analysis and project management including monthly/quarterly analysis and reports, special projects, and acquisitions. The Sr Manager will provide finance support on budgeting, forecasting and ongoing financial analysis to these teams.This position will support our Finance team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of our North Dallas office location in Dallas, TX.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret financial information to understand and interpret business conditions
- Support the business during the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting process
- Work with executive leaders to create business plans and presentations for board and executive committee meetings. Provide financial leadership to executives on their key initiatives and investments, including building and socializing financial models on such initiatives
- Overall support of month-end reporting package, including developing and presenting monthly financial reports
- Drive process improvements and grow FP&A capabilities. Design and develop enhanced forecasting models and tools using Hyperion Planning/Smartview
- Perform headcount analysis, contingent modeling, utilization dashboarding and other profitability assessments, as needed
- Responsible for the functional oversight and improvements to the Hyperion Planning application. Provide user support and training as needed and work hand in hand with the Financial Systems team
- Ad Hoc Projects
- Provide leadership support to corporate finance team
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4 year college or university with a focus in accounting or finance required. MBA preferred
- Minimum of seven years of progressively increasing roles and responsibilities in the financial arena.
- Maintain effective working relationships throughout the organization including the executive level
- Ability to demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, collaboration, independent reasoning, discretion, and analytical skills with applied business acumen
- Strong technical skills with a working knowledge of SAP, Hyperion, MS Excel, Powerpoint and Word
- Ability to produce clear and concise written and verbal communication. Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, remain motivated and work across multiple projects
