Overview:

Our client is a leading Midstream Oil & Gas company dedicated to the safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation and storage of energy resources. They are seeking a Sr. Manager, Engineering to lead their engineering team in Midland, TX, overseeing key projects and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the design, development, and execution of midstream projects, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance on pipeline, facilities, and infrastructure engineering.
  • Manage all aspects of project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of midstream projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, regulatory, and project management.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce operational risks.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure project success.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or related field).
  • 15+ years of engineering experience, with at least 12+ years in the Oil & Gas industry (Midstream preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams with a proven ability to lead and develop talent.
  • Strong project management experience, with the ability to oversee multiple projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of midstream infrastructure, including pipelines, compression, and storage facilities.
  • Expertise in regulatory compliance, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
  • Experience with project financing and cost control in midstream projects.
  • Knowledge of industry software and engineering tools.
