Overview:
Our client is a leading Midstream Oil & Gas company dedicated to the safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation and storage of energy resources. They are seeking a Sr. Manager, Engineering to lead their engineering team in Midland, TX, overseeing key projects and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Oversee the design, development, and execution of midstream projects, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Provide technical guidance on pipeline, facilities, and infrastructure engineering.
- Manage all aspects of project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of midstream projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, regulatory, and project management.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce operational risks.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure project success.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or related field).
- 15+ years of engineering experience, with at least 12+ years in the Oil & Gas industry (Midstream preferred).
- 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams with a proven ability to lead and develop talent.
- Strong project management experience, with the ability to oversee multiple projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of midstream infrastructure, including pipelines, compression, and storage facilities.
- Expertise in regulatory compliance, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- Experience with project financing and cost control in midstream projects.
- Knowledge of industry software and engineering tools.
