The Senior Project Manager is primarily responsible for daily management of assigned projects within the Information Technology portfolio. They are responsible for planning, defining, and documenting all aspects of the project from inception to delivery. An additional focus of this role is to serve as a liaison between the business, third parties/vendors and technical resources for assigned projects.

Primary Functions / Responsibilities

• Participates in planning, system design, and resource planning.
• Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of projects.
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
• Manage changes to the project scope and schedule.
• Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
• Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.
• Groom and maintain product back-log.
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all company operations.
• Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile and SCRUM practices.
• Assist in the selection and orientation of new staff members.
• Assist in the development, implementation, ownership, and enforcement of all project management artifacts, processes, and policies.
• Guide assigned projects through the project approval process.

Content Knowledge and Skills:

• PMP Certification Required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project or Equivalent Project Management Software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Exceptional communication skills (written and oral) are required

Previous Experience

• 5+ years managing multiple large-scale cross-functional projects required
