Job Description

Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - AWS Connect

The Sr Full Stack Software Engineer - AWS Connect implements applications following 12-factor principles to build out the product and iterative enhancements. They own the full stack of software products, developing and implementing frontends (web or mobile) and backend services. They leverage test-driven development and continuous integration to ensure agility and quality. They actively participate in team decision-making, ensuring that the simplest appropriate technology and design meet user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in iteration planning meetings to ensure a shared understanding of stories and chores in the backlog.
• Engage in daily standups across site, cross-site, and product teams.
• Contribute to retrospectives to gather feedback and identify actionable improvements.
• Execute product and enterprise strategies with a customer-centric approach.
• Collaborate within the team to design systems and applications.
• Practice daily paired programming and test-driven development.
• Establish and support CI/CD pipelines and practices.
• Support software products in user environments.
• Share knowledge and contribute to the team's collective growth.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education and Experience:

• 4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
• 3+ years of experience (Preferred)
• Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

No certifications, licenses, or registrations are required.

Functional Skills:

• Strong understanding of computer science concepts and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with multiple programming languages, including Java (Spring), .NET, Ruby, Python, Golang, JavaScript, with the ability to learn new languages quickly.
• Experience developing in AWS Connect using AWS Lambdas and LEX.

Compensation:

Annual salary ranges from $85,600 to $152,650, depending on experience and qualifications.
