Position Overview

The Senior Financial Planning Associate is responsible for managing financial applications used within the Finance division for tracking, controlling, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on BPI's business results. This includes maintaining and developing the Cuadro de Mando environments for strategic and budgetary reporting, overseeing ALCO Yield Analysis and Reporting, and the Introducer Payments Calculation Process. The role involves working on strategic projects and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track, control, monitor, analyze, and report on BPI's consolidated results, supporting strategic projects and digital initiatives.
  • Manage quarterly Introducer calculations.
  • Automate accounting processes and financial reporting to improve efficiency.
  • Document processes and train staff on new procedures.
  • Coordinate upgrades of financial applications such as MPC/Hyperion, Great Plains, Concur, and others.
  • Compile and report monthly ALCO yields, Transfer Pricing, and presentations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
    • Knowledge of banking accounting, financial reporting, GAAP, and IFRS standards.
    • Experience in executing finance projects and analysis.
    • Ability to develop new financial processes for efficiency.
    • Strong analytical skills, data mining, and validation skills.
    • Project management experience preferred.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and tools like SQL, Hyperion, SAP, Oracle.
    • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
    Education and Experience

    Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. 7-10 years of relevant experience.

    Additional Information

    Position based in Miami, FL, with a salary range of $97,500 - $160,000 annually. Santander is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
