Your main role as a technology leader will involve integrating generative AI features from our product and applied research teams at Adobe.

The team will rely on your expertise to craft an expressive framework that enables rapid innovation, keeping pace with the ongoing generative AI revolution. By establishing this framework, you will empower your team to push the boundaries of what is possible, fueling their creativity and ingenuity.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a team of engineers from start to finish in developing the Firefly web application, including research, design, security assessment, implementation, and feature delivery.
  • Work closely with product management and clients to define and refine the product roadmap, user experience, priorities, and schedule.
  • Take ownership of the development life cycle, closely supervising progress, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring access to senior leadership when needed.
  • Play a pivotal role in attracting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining exceptional engineers through mentorship, and grow them professionally and personally.
  • Rely on a combination of data and your instincts to make informed decisions and drive the team's progress quickly.
  • Foster a culture that values teamwork, knowledge sharing, and accomplishment celebration to encourage collaboration and shared accomplishments.
  • Lead by example, fostering teamwork and supporting enterprise-wide collaboration.
  • Guide and coach a squad of highly skilled web and backend engineers, providing technical mentorship, unblocking challenges, and celebrating their achievements.
  • Champion engineering excellence, contributing to the architecture and high-level structure of our applications.
  • Lead and contribute to driving culture and process improvements across the broader engineering organization.

What You Need To Succeed

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of shown experience in software engineering.
  • Proven ability leading software engineering teams.
  • Strong technical background and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent technical skills in evaluating systems architecture.
  • Drive consensus on requirements, ensure timely decision-making.
  • Passion for collaborating with design teams.
  • Track record of developing, leading, coaching, and mentoring software engineers.
  • Collaborate and adapt to different cultures, time zones, and work styles.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $154,700 -- $320,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
