Job DetailsJob Location Abilene Office - Abilene, TX DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY Senior level engineer responsible for directing and coordinating the discipline technical effort on multiple large projects. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Engineer will be responsible for planning and coordination of both smaller ($5M and less) and larger projects ($200M+).
- Engineer will be responsible to develop, approve and coordinate work schedules of junior engineers, designers, and drafters on a project to project basis and ensure that objectives of cost, quality and time are met.
- Engineer will be responsible to conduct upfront site visits, power systems analysis, project site plans, develop electrical equipment lists, motor load lists, drawing lists, manage projects as a lead electrical engineer and coordinate all startup/commissioning/testing activities.
- Engineer will be responsible to resolve major and minor technical issues with design, enforce project standards, and enforce code requirements on project.
- Engineer will be responsible to provide guidance on design and technical issues with subordinate engineers.
Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Sr. Engineer IV - Education = Bachelor's/Continuing Education; Experience = 10 years; Licensure = PE Sr. Engineer III - Education = Bachelor's/Continuing Education; Experience = 12 years; Licensure = PE Sr. Engineer II - Education = Bachelor's/Continuing Education; Experience = 14 years; Licensure = PE Sr. Engineer I - Education = Bachelor's/Continuing Education; Experience = 15 years; Licensure = PE PHYSICAL DEMANDS
