Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr. Division Director, Office of the EVP & Strategic Initiatives. The Senior Division Director, Office of the EVP (OEVP) & Strategic Initiatives is a senior leader within NYU Langone Healths Office of Development & Alumni Affairs, serving as the primary operational partner to the Executive Vice President for Development. This individual ensures the seamless execution of the EVPs highest priorities, manages key institutional relationships, and partners with the Vice President of Development to drive strategic alignment across the development enterprise.
Providing cohesive coordination across the EVPs portfolio, priorities, and daily workflow, the Senior Division Director advances complex initiatives with clarity, discretion, and urgency. This includes preparing the EVP for high-stakes donor and board engagements, overseeing the execution of principal gift strategies, and fostering cross-departmental integration to ensure alignment with institutional priorities. The role also provides senior level oversight for the EVPs interface with the NYU Langone Board of Trustees, ensuring thoughtful preparation, strategic alignment, and exceptional execution of all board related activities. The Senior Division Director represents the EVPs office with credibility and professionalism in interactions with senior leadership, faculty, board members, and principal donors, ensuring that priorities are advanced with precision and impact.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have:
Bachelors degree required. Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in fundraising, campaign management, or strategic leadership within complex, mission driven institutions. Demonstrated success serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and managing high level relationships with donors, boards, and senior administrators. Proven ability to lead complex, multi year fundraising initiatives and integrate philanthropic priorities across a large organization. Exceptional organizational, strategic thinking, and project management skills. 6 years of management experience required. Proven self-starter with a high level of creativity and initiative; excels at managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously and solving complex problems with a proactive mindset. Possesses the presence, inclusivity, and communication skills necessary to be an effective representative of NYU Langone Health and a liaison to the donor base. Develops and enhances relationships through authenticity, professionalism and trust. Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling messages that resonate with diverse audiences and inspire confidence. Facilitates understanding through listening and crafting and delivering messages that meet the needs of different audiences. Takes ownership of opportunities, challenges and decisions to drive work and the organization forward. Has the ability to lead, direct and motivate others; encourages and ensures professional development opportunities for reporting staff and acts as a mentor. Embraces and supports institutional values and competencies and ensures that they are reflected in all aspects of our work. Contributes on a daily basis to an environment where differences are welcomed and supported by embracing the perspectives of all.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $266,846.94 - $393,599.82 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
