Our Federal Engineered Systems Global Business Unit is a leader in delivering engineering and technology solutions to Federal DoD and Civilian clients.

The FAA has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform U.S. air traffic control by 2028. Success requires FAA integration expertise, program delivery management, technical leadership, and accountability for delivery. Parsons is looking for a talented Finance Lead to join our team! In this role, you will provide high-quality financial management information and advice to senior management regarding strategy, planning, analysis, and reporting.

Preference is for candidates located in the National Capital Region (NCR). Parsons will consider remote/hybrid employees with approximately 75% travel to the NCR.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Review key business objectives and develop financial strategies to support their delivery.
  • Deliver financial analysis and solutions aligned with business strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective financial procedures, initiating changes to meet targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Produce monthly financial statements to aid decision-making.
  • Contribute to corporate reporting on financial performance.
  • Ensure contractor invoices are compliant and paid on time.
  • Investigate budget variances and recommend remedial actions.
  • Maintain financial reports and records according to policies.
  • Oversee resources, projects, and finances.
  • Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance Management, or Accounting; Master's preferred.
  • Chartered Accountant Certification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
  • At least 10 years of financial management, analysis, and budgeting experience.
  • Experience with government programs and financial integration preferred.
  • Strong background in financial management, including P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow.
  • US Person.
  • Desired Skills:
  • Leadership, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • High proficiency in English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Security Clearance:
