Sr. Director – Global Seller Risk Strategy - PayPal Holdings : Job Details

Position Responsibilities:Directly manage a global team of risk professionals supporting onboarding and ongoing reviews of PayPals merchant customer segments globally. Partner with second line Financial Risk Oversight teams and first line data science teams to implement risk appetite statements, support ongoing analysis of macroeconomic trends and enhance ongoing monitoring. Provide subject matter expertise and tailored deal guidance for complex global merchant onboarding opportunities, including briefings for senior leadership and direct merchant advisory discussions at the executive level where appropriate. Identify control opportunities for new and existing industry verticals or market expansions. Partner with technology teams to oversee requirements and the development of tools to support enhanced risk reviews and decision-making. Serve as the primary lead on merchant risk matters with payment ecosystem partners, including acquiring banks and card networks.
