Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $50.00/hr

STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta and more, including internationally in Mexico, India and Japan.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer with expertise in SQL, .NET, and Power BI to support a large-scale project within the educational sector. This is a dynamic role that requires a strong technical background and a passion for optimizing functionality and enhancing project management systems. As part of a Project Web Application (PWA) environment, you will be responsible for optimizing PWA functionality through expert management of SQL Server development (T-SQL), stored procedures, performance tuning, and ETL processes. You will also be instrumental in developing custom .NET applications using C# and ASP.NET to enhance automation and workflow, and will integrate these tools with Microsoft Project Online, Power BI, and other Microsoft technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models, integration, and transformation processes to ensure reliable data analysis for business users.
• Lead the development and enhancement of Power BI and Microsoft Project applications to meet evolving business requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams and IT business partners to design new technical solutions and troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Serve as the Power BI expert, guiding the creation of dynamic dashboards and reports.
• Work with Microsoft Project resources to gather requirements and develop solutions, providing clear documentation (BRDs, TDS, STM).
• Facilitate UAT, Integration Testing, and Regression Testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI, optimizing SQL Server performance and leveraging SSRS as needed.
• Optimize reports, including program metrics and statistical reports, identifying performance improvements.
• Support Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Collaborate with QuickBase application resources to develop custom reports in Microsoft Project.
• Lead the strategic vision for Power BI, aligning it with organizational goals and fostering data-driven decision-making.
• Manage end-to-end implementation of Power BI solutions, from data acquisition to creating impactful dashboards.
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices in Power BI development.
• Implement and enforce data governance policies specific to Power BI solutions.
• Ensure seamless data integration between Project Online and other systems, maintaining high data quality and security.

Additional DetailsThe base range for this contract position is $40 - 50/per hour, depending on experience.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
