Data QA Analyst - 100% Remote (EST Hours)

The client is looking for a Data QA Analyst to join the Data Partnership team at a healthcare client based in North Carolina. The successful candidate should be skilled in data profiling, root cause analysis, and developing strategies to ensure data quality across big data and analytics platforms. Responsibilities include delivering solutions using data warehousing, big data, relational and document databases, ELT tools, REST APIs, and FHIR, with a focus on data science platforms, DevOps, and Test Automation tools.

Must-Have Skills:

• Experience with implementing and measuring Data Quality and Controls
• Testing data transformation, structures, metadata, dependencies, and workload management
• Test automation and Azure DevOps integration
• Extensive healthcare IT-clinical experience
• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with RDBMSs
• Root cause analysis on data and processes
• Familiarity with Python development
• API testing automation experience

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Azure Databricks experience
• Predictive modeling knowledge
• Open-source software solutions understanding
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Experience with FHIR implementation

Responsibilities:

• Manage data quality documentation, standards, and definitions
• Identify and document data issues, patterns, and gaps
• Interpret and analyze data for business insights
• Ensure data integrity through QA practices
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend controls
• Oversee data flow and API quality assurance
• Participate in agile story refinement and estimation
• Develop and execute test cases during sprints
• Collaborate to automate tests within CI/CD pipelines
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases like Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, CosmosDB
• Use data pipeline and ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory and Synapse Pipelines
• Work with healthcare data exchange standards like FHIR
• Utilize stream-processing systems and scripting languages like Python or Java
• Test RESTful APIs and Web Applications
• Work on cloud analytics platforms like Azure Synapse
