$140,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer – Customer Cyber Threat Response to join our client's team in Long Island, NY. This is a hybrid, direct hire position.SALARY: $140-$158K + bonus (depending on experience)Unfortunately, at this time our client is unable to sponsor or transfer visas. Only candidates authorized to work in the US without sponsorship should apply.Responsibilities include:

• 4+ years in Security Operations Center (SOC), Incident Response, or Threat Detection roles
• Deep experience with tools like Splunk, CrowdStrike, threat intel platforms, SIEM, EDR
• Conducting investigations on Okta, Microsoft 365, endpoints, networks, and web systems
• Correlating logs across systems to investigate phishing, ATO, and other cyber threats
• Querying/scripting for threat hunting (e.g., SPL, SQL, Python)
• Understanding of Zero Trust and modern cybersecurity practices
• Experience with multi-cloud security environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• This role requires 2 days onsite in Long Island, NY.
