About the Role

A confidential, design-integrated construction firm is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to play a key leadership role in delivering transformative projects. The selected candidate will guide initiatives from the design phase through successful completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality expectations are met or exceeded.

This role provides the opportunity to join a collaborative project delivery team and engage with stakeholders including architects, clients, engineers, and subcontractors. It is ideal for a results-oriented construction professional who thrives in dynamic environments and values precision, accountability, and long-term partnership building.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with owners and design teams to define deliverables and establish project schedules
  • Interpret project contracts with accuracy, understanding all terms, scopes, and milestones
  • Lead the submittal, approval, and procurement processes for project materials and equipment
  • Finalize and maintain construction schedules with active input from subcontractors
  • Collaborate with superintendents to build and maintain detailed, activity-based schedules
  • Align project budgets with scope and milestones in partnership with estimating and finance teams
  • Coordinate with internal finance leaders to validate financial commitments and develop payment schedules
  • Oversee purchasing approvals and manage vendor payments
  • Communicate impacts of scope changes on cost and timeline to all relevant stakeholders
  • Lead weekly jobsite meetings, providing clear documentation and follow-ups
  • Manage project closeout, ensuring completion of punch lists, delivery of final documentation, and owner handoff
  • Handle warranty tracking and client relationship continuity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive construction management experience
  • Proven success managing mid-to-large scale projects ($5M–$40M)
  • Strong proficiency in project scheduling and financial control methodologies
  • Experience with Procore and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to client satisfaction
  • Highly organized, strategic, and adaptable with strong multitasking capabilities
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% to oversee job sites and ensure project excellence
