This position works out of our Sturgis, MI location in the Abbott Nutrition division. What Youll Work On: Generalist position during External audits; Lead Internal Audit Program; Drive Food Safety Culture Initiatives; PNC/NC Investigations and Actions; Tracking and Trending Compliance metrics for site, focus on areas of opportunity; Train and Provide support for internal auditors and quarterly audits; Lead or co-lead workstreams during external audits; Provide plan and support in establishing Food safety culture at site; Back up Compliance manager/Sanitation Manager as appropriate; Ensure Plant is in audit ready state and take actions for improvement and plant engagement; Train and support the Compliance Specialist Position. Youll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field OR 4-6 years' experience in Quality Assurance in a cGMP setting. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
