Job Description :

Manage and maintain the existing system and identity solutions and partner with the cloud engineers for complex problem resolution. Review existing systems and identify implementations and work to increase configuration consistency. Automate repetitive day-to-day work utilizing agreed upon standard tools and code repositories. Provide expert advice on projects based upon customer demands, cloud strategy and overall infrastructure strategy embraced by the company. Leverage tools and processes to effectively and efficiently provision, install, configure systems and identity solutions. Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) Common job activities are listed below; actual position responsibilities may vary. Refer to your manager or human resources for specific duties and performance expectations. 1. Support escalations by the Service Desk. (30-35%)

  • Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix, and document problems, and implement preventive measures.
  • Monitor and manage day-to-day identity, system and cloud issues reported by customers and address questions.
  • Support productivity tools installed on systems or in the cloud such as PaperCut, and remain engaged on business critical system issues (such as DPN, LaserFische, etc.) until resolution.
  • Respond to requests to unlock accounts and/or change passwords, as needed.
  • Run automations as needed to complete work.
  • Analyze cloud and system alerts and investigate.
2. Build complex systems infrastructures using the security builds and Entra cloud identity services to meet and exceed customer expectations. (25-30%) 3. At the direction of the cloud architects, develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics. (10-20%)
  • Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training when necessary.
4. Create automations for new processes such as Infrastructure as Code (IoC) and build solutions to monitor any system drift by identifying, configuring and managing approved management tools. (10-15%) 5. Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for cloud and identity solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance. (10-15%) 6. Build out and maintain DevOps for the cloud team to utilize for creation, storage and ongoing CI/CD pipelines for any automation created. (5-10%) 7. Identify and report on build security levels prior to deployment. (5-10%) 8. Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. (0-5%) Performance Expectations

Qualifications Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or related technical field or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in building moderately complex systems or cloud infrastructures.
  • 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting identity, cloud and server issues within both Microsoft Windows and Linux operating environments.
  • 3+ years of experience with complex active directory environments, organizational units, group policy objects and replication.
  • 3+ years of experience applying OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrades of administrative tools and utilities; configuring, adding, and removing services as necessary.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge with IaaS, PaaS and SaaS cloud services.
  • Advanced knowledge with identity management services.
  • Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities, security issues and appropriate mitigation.
  • Ability to build collaborative working relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
Other (licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel, etc.):
  • May require schedule flexibility including occasional after-hours or on-call work.
Wage: $115,000 - $136,000 annually; actual wage is based upon education and experience. Potential for annual discretionary bonus.
