What we're looking for:

Using scientific, mathematical and engineering principles to solve problems and improve processes

Designing, proposing, implementing, reviewing and correcting plans to ensure company goals are achieved

Observing production processes, conducting research, and finding ways to increase efficiency and quality

Proven work experience as a Senior Chemical Engineer or similar role

Ability to cooperate and connect with others, especially those without a technical background

Computer literacy to run simulations and conduct ongoing research

Outstanding problem solving, verbal and written communication, presentation and project management skills

Required Skills:

BS Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university with minimum 6 years' experience

Experience designing industrial processes including any combination of chemical reactor selection & design, distillation system design, separations system design, or other chemical processes

Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards related to industrial process design & build

Experience using chemical process modelling & simulation software, ChemCad or Epcon preferred

Strong written and verbal communications, organizational and time management skills

Strong interpersonal skills to work in and support a cross-functional team environment

Ideally familiar with process scale-up (e.g. from lab scale to production scale)

Ideally familiar with process hazard analysis and process safety management

Ideally familiar with skid based system design

Ideally holds a Chemical Engineering P.E. license
