The Narcotics and Transnational Crime Support Center (NTC) delivers intelligence and operational support to Law Enforcement (LE) and Inter-Agency (IA) partners tackling complex investigations. NTC analysts focus on drug trafficking, social network analysis, open-source intelligence, and financial tracking to support efforts in disrupting criminal networks linked to drugs, terrorism, cybercrime, and other threats.

We are seeking Counter Drug Transnational Organized Crime (CD/TOC) Senior Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with expertise in CN, CT, CTF, and C-TOC activities supporting the NTC mission. The role emphasizes supporting interagency partners (e.g., DOJ, DEA, DHS, HSI, FBI, OFAC, Treasury) to target and disrupt threats to U.S. security.

Location: Arlington, VA. Candidates must reside in the Washington Metro Area. Telework may be considered.

Required Clearance: Active Top Secret with TS/SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advisory support to NTC leadership and committees on CN, CTF, C-TOC, and LE efforts.
  • Offer expertise and recommendations on transnational investigations involving illicit trafficking, narco-terrorism, and money laundering.
  • Monitor policies and developments to align mission objectives.
  • Engage with stakeholders across agencies, academia, and international organizations.
  • Represent NTC at high-level meetings and conferences.
  • Increase awareness of NTC's missions and activities.
  • Review support for investigations and operations, ensuring alignment with mission objectives.
  • Identify gaps in capabilities and advise on strategies.
  • Conduct all-source analysis on global drug-related issues.
  • Develop communication materials for operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Support strategic projects and initiatives related to CN, CTF, and C-TOC.
  • Maintain relationships across the Community of Action to facilitate coordination.
  • Support training efforts on regulatory and operational aspects.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of CN, CT, CTF, and C-TOC activities, emphasizing interagency cooperation.
  • Support collaborative interagency processes to target and disrupt threats.
  • Analyze complex intelligence and provide actionable operational recommendations.
  • Foster relationships with government, academia, and international partners.
  • Prepare high-level briefings and reports for senior officials.
  • Understand crime dynamics and conduct predictive analysis.
  • Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Train and mentor staff on relevant mission sets.

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of CN, CT, CTF, and C-TOC activities supporting the NTC mission, with emphasis on interagency collaboration.
  • Proven ability to support interagency processes targeting threats to U.S. security.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or military experience with 5+ years in related areas, totaling 17 years of experience.
  • At least 12 years of specialized experience, with recent experience within the last 2 years.
