Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Architect with a valid Registered Architect (RA) License and a proven track record in building design. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing all phases of architectural design, from conceptual development to construction documentation and administration for diverse building projects across commercial, institutional, residential, and mixed-use sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead architectural design efforts from concept through completion for medium to large-scale building projects.
  • Develop creative, functional, and sustainable design solutions aligned with client needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams including structural, MEP, civil, and landscape consultants.
  • Oversee preparation of detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents in compliance with codes, zoning, and ADA guidelines.
  • Serve as the primary client interface throughout design and construction phases, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule objectives are met.
  • Conduct site visits, field inspections, and resolve design and construction issues during project execution.
  • Mentor and supervise junior architects, designers, and drafters; provide guidance on best design and technical practices.
  • Stay current with emerging building technologies, materials, and sustainable design trends (LEED, WELL, etc.).
  • Collaborate with contractors, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure successful project approvals and execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Registered Architect (RA) License in NY?NJ.
  • Minimum 8+ years of professional architectural experience in building design and delivery.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with BIM workflows .
  • Thorough knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, construction standards, and permitting processes.
  • Proven ability to manage complex design projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent design, visualization, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities
