Job Summary
As a Sr. Analytics Engineer within the Operational Excellence & Enterprise Analytics Department, you will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our network enterprise data warehouse, enabling data-driven decisions and improvements. The ideal candidate is skilled in data pipeline development and data wrangling, enjoys optimizing data systems, and building from the ground up. You must be self-directed, supporting multiple teams across clinical and non-clinical domains. You will re-design our data architecture to facilitate strategic, operational, and clinical decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Build infrastructure for optimal data extraction, loading, and transformation (ELT) into our enterprise data warehouse using SQL and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Snowflake).
- Create and maintain data pipeline ingestion architecture for structured and unstructured data sources.
- Understand business processes generating data and develop transformation logic for structured and analytical repositories.
- Use data orchestration and scheduling to organize data from multiple sources, enabling analysis and automation.
- Develop and maintain analytics tools and dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) for operational insights.
- Implement data cataloging and best practices for data governance and source control.
- Ensure data quality and security standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support data infrastructure needs and troubleshoot issues.
- Identify process improvements, automate manual tasks, and optimize infrastructure scalability.
- Create data tools and support analytics and data science teams.
- Mentor new team members and disseminate data engineering best practices.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, or related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and cloud data warehouse architecture (Snowflake/Azure).
- Experience with Python or R preferred.
Skills
- Advanced SQL development, pipeline design, and data profiling.
- Experience with cloud EDWs (Snowflake/Azure).
- Data modeling, documentation, troubleshooting, dashboard development.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
- Proficiency in statistics and data visualization.
