As a Systems Engineer for a ground operational systems program, you will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying cutting-edge systems. Your role will involve providing technical leadership throughout the system development lifecycle, from initial design to deployment, while ensuring the highest standards of performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Lead and contribute to the systems development lifecycle (SDLC) from concept through deployment, ensuring technical success at every stage.
• Work closely with team members to provide technical leadership, promoting cross-functional collaboration.
• Champion new ideas and process improvements, integrating innovative solutions into system design and development.
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to team members, guiding the development of complex systems.
• Utilize strong communication skills to meet customer requirements, delivering solutions while maintaining relationships.

• Understanding of satellite communications, ground-to-satellite communication processes, and related technologies.
• Experience working with ground operations and satellite communication systems.
• Proficiency with tools like STK/Python, CAMEO, MATLAB for analysis and modeling.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system tracking, and complex space systems.
• Background in aerospace, modeling, simulation, and strong software, cloud, and tracking skills.
• Knowledge of SMART OA SE, IRPL, and payload tracking models.
