Job Description :

Akkodis is seeking an Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for a contract with a client in Minneapolis, MN. You will support test and manufacturing operations for Ring Laser Gyro and Tactical Guidance Products, driving yield improvements and resolving technical issues. Rate Range: $50/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer job responsibilities include:

  • Provide test and manufacturing support for Ring Laser Gyro (RLG) and Tactical Guidance Products (TGP) production lines.
  • Analyze yield and performance data to monitor process capability and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and CAMP methodologies to standardize and optimize engineering workflows.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented.
  • Develop and implement design and process improvements to reduce cost and cycle time.
  • Support new product development and maintain test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to ensure production efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Physics, or Mathematics from an accredited institution; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or product engineering.
  • Strong background in Six Sigma, Lean, and data-driven process improvement methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with test equipment, product yield analysis, and troubleshooting in a regulated manufacturing environment.
