Electrical Computer-Aided Design Technician Florham Park, NJ Contract Position Pay Estimated: $48.49-$53.49/Hour This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.) Active Secret Clearance Required to Start Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains. Responsibilities: * Execute component and connector placement, signal and power plane routing, and spacing optimization for PCB designs.* Create fabrication and assembly documentation for manufacturing processes.* Consult on design scale, power plane location, and signal integrity to improve manufacturability.* Prepare detailed production drawings, incorporating modifications that improve quality or simplify assembly.* Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure alignment between design and system requirements.* Maintain adherence to industry and internal documentation standards, file management protocols, and best practices in PCB design for manufacturability (DFM). Qualifications: * U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law * Education: Associate's degree or equivalent required* Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance* Experience: Minimum 5 years of PCB layout/design experience in an ECAD role* Tools: * Proficient with Siemens (Mentor Graphics) Xpedition xPCB and Fablink* Skilled in CAD data management and documentation standards* Technical Knowledge: * In-depth understanding of PWB fabrication techniques* Experience with design-for-manufacturability (DFM) principles* Collaboration: Proven ability to work with cross-functional engineering teams Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
