SQL Developer - Alliance Clinical Network : Job Details

SUMMARY: The SQL Database Developer is responsible for the overall development and maintenance of information and server databases for the purpose of operational infrastructure. This role is responsible for the evolution of data, including the design and streamlining of data operations to ensure cohesiveness between multiple software platforms, reporting ease and optimal productivity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1) Comply with all company policies, procedures, and conduct.

2) Strictly adhere to confidentiality and compliance standards.

3) Develop and manage ETL processes which extract data from various source systems on a regular basis.

4) Review inputs and outputs to ensure data integrity and quality.

5) Develop and maintain database stored procedures, reports and SSIS packages.

6) Meet with leadership and application SMEs to gather business requirements for reporting and data needs.

7) Create and maintain web-based SSRS / Power BI reports.

8) Provide ad-hoc reporting as per business needs.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

1) Bachelor s degree in IT or related field, required.

2) 7-10+ years of database design / development experience in Microsoft SQL Server.

3) Detailed background in data integration, application connectivity, and data aggregation.

4) Expert level Microsoft SQL Server development experience especially in MS SQL Server.

5) Expert level SSIS development experience.

6) Experienced T-SQL developer.

7) Experienced SSRS developer.

8) Good data analysis skills using relational databases platform.

9) Experience in Database related performance tuning.

10) Good knowledge in data modeling practices.

11) Familiarity with other databases.

12) Excellent communication and analytical skills.

13) Sound accuracy and logic required.

14) A proven ability to constantly prioritize multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment.

15) Must be comfortable with a rapid-growth company.
