Caesars Sportsbook, now a part of Caesars Entertainment, has an opening for a Sportsbook Manager at the Horseshoe Lake Charles Casino in Westlake, LA. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing the operations of our sportsbook and fostering a high-performing, welcoming environment focused on customer service and compliance.
What You Will Do:
Manage the day-to-day activities of the sportsbook, including hiring, scheduling, training, mentoring staff, and promoting high performance, compliance, and excellent customer service.Act as an ambassador for the property to promote sports wagering via kiosks and mobile platforms.Interact daily with senior leadership to serve as a brand ambassador to patrons.Manage all aspects of sports betting equipment.Demonstrate leadership to ensure operational effectiveness, maximize handle, profitability, and brand promotion.Ensure all customers are welcomed by team members.Adhere to betting control guidelines within the sportsbook.Foster an environment focused on customer service and compliance.Develop skills and knowledge of the sportsbook team.Plan and execute staffing models within budget constraints.Coordinate with stakeholders during planning, execution, and opening phases.Maintain professional relationships with internal and external contacts.Promote a positive image for the company within the industry and community.Perform additional duties as assigned.What You Will Need:
Prior experience in a sportsbook is highly preferred.Ability to motivate, lead, and mentor staff.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Professional appearance and demeanor.Self-starter attitude showing initiative.Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands:
Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to lift, pull, or push 25 lbs.Ability to write for extended periods.Ability to twist, bend, or reach without significant restrictions.Position may involve exposure to a smoke-filled environment.About us
