Sports Physical Therapist - NorthMed Health : Job Details

Salary: $85,000 – $115,000 per year, Plus Performance Bonus

Start Date: As soon as possible

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 for starting within 2 weeks!

We are hiring a dedicated and dynamic Physical Therapist for a dual-setting sports medicine and outpatient rehab role. The primary focus will be working onsite at a high school providing athletic injury prevention, sports rehabilitation, and performance enhancement for student-athletes. During school breaks or non-school hours, you will treat a diverse range of patients at our outpatient physical therapy clinic located just 5 miles away.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert injury assessment, prevention, and rehabilitation services to student-athletes
• Collaborate with athletic trainers, coaches, parents, and school staff to ensure coordinated care
• Deliver evidence-based outpatient physical therapy for orthopedic, post-surgical, and sports-related injuries
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold best practices in patient care
• Adapt to changing caseloads and settings based on athletic seasons and clinic needs

Qualifications

• Active New York State Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
• CPR/AED certified
• Skilled in independent decision-making and managing a varied caseload
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented approach
