The Sports Coordinator assists in the daily direction and management of the sports program which may include organizing, delivering and administering sports leagues, recreation programs and activities targeted toward youth and adults at assigned branch. The incumbent may give work direction to sports staff. 2. Essential Functions: Assists in the implementation of sports programs which may include organizing, delivering and administering sports leagues, recreation programs and activities. Ensures a high level of customer service which enhances the member, program participant and guest experience and satisfaction. Assists in managing the day to day programing to ensure revenue, program goals, and expense targets are achieved. Delivers sports programs directly to members and participants a portion of the time. Provides work direction to sports staff when appropriate. May assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training and giving work direction to staff and volunteers. 3.
