Carlyle is seeking an experienced Sponsorship Marketing Leader to lead the development and execution of high-impact brand partnerships within both the global sports and business ecosystems. This strategic role is designed to enhance the firm's brand visibility, deepen engagement with target audiences, and position Carlyle as an innovative leader in the investment management space.

You will be responsible for building and executing Carlyle's sponsorship marketing strategy, overseeing end-to-end execution of partnership programs, and creating compelling sponsorship-led narratives that elevate our brand across global markets. This is a unique opportunity to blend strategic brand marketing with the power of premium sponsorship activation, while working cross-functionally to maximize business value and drive long-term brand growth.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Carlyle's global sponsorship partnerships, including strategy development, execution, and performance optimization.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with premier sports organizations that align with Carlyle's brand values and business goals.
  • Develop integrated marketing plans to activate partnerships across digital, social, event, and experiential channels.
  • Collaborate across marketing, communications, events, and investor relations teams to drive alignment between sponsorship and commercial goals.
  • Design and execute VIP hospitality experiences that support client acquisition, relationship-building, and brand loyalty.
  • Continuously assess partnership impact and ROI, adjusting strategies to maximize visibility, brand affinity, and business outcomes.
  • Bring innovative, storytelling-led campaigns to life that differentiate Carlyle in the global marketplace.
  • Advise senior leadership on new partnership opportunities and long-term brand positioning through sponsorship.
  • Craft and deliver powerful narratives that resonate with targeted audiences and reflect the brand's values and goals.
Qualifications

Education & Certificates

  • Bachelors degree, required

Professional Experience

  • 10+ years' overall relevant experience, required
  • Experience leading global brand sponsorships, preferably with sports, business-to-business and financial services sector focus.
  • Knowledge of the alternative investment management industry, including products, services, and target audiences, preferred.
  • Expertise in managing high-value sponsorship partnerships, ensuring strategic commercial alignment and maximizing ROI.
  • Skilled in setting KPIs, measuring impact, and refining programs based on performance data and market feedback.
  • A creative, adaptive leader who can balance bold ideas with operational excellence and seamless execution.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) strongly preferred
  • Understanding of integrated marketing campaign development and deployment from content generation to paid advertising and social media campaigns
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analyses confidently in a clear, rational, and visually effective manner to executive leadership.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
The compensation range for this role is specific to New York City and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $200,000 to $220,000.

In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package spanning retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance and disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits and various wellness programs. Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
