The Chaplain delivers effective and efficient Chaplaincy Services to patients, their loved ones and staff of all faith traditions. Connects patients with their local faith communities when possible. Reporting to the Director of Patient and Family Services. Education. Masters Degree in Theology or related field. Certification, Registration & Licensure. Ordination as a Minister, Priest, or Rabbi with a Masters of Divinity or equivalent from an accredited seminary. Certified, or eligible for certification, as a Board Certified Chaplain by and in good standing with a national chaplaincy certifying body preferred. Two to four units of clinical pastoral education (CPE). Up to date denominational endorsement for ministry in the health care setting. Experience. At least 1 year in hospital ministry - professional experience preferred, volunteer or educational experience considered.
