Requirements of the Spine Surgeon:

• MD/DO license
• BC/BE
• Looking for an ortho trained spine surgeon

Responsibilities of the Spine Surgeon:

• Review patient s medical history
• Order diagnostic tests
• Perform surgery
• Prescribe medication
• Post-operative care and treatment plan
• Fully explaining treatment plan to patient
• Possibility to educate students or participate in research
• Recognize and diagnose conditions involving the spine
