Speech - Language Pathologist - CLARKE SCHOOLS FOR HEARING & SPEECH : Job Details

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director. Promote Clarkes Mission and Goals. Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, neat and family friendly environment. Attend community outreach events. Participate/plan parent workshops Requirements Masters Degree in Speech and Language Pathology. Appropriate certifications in Speech and Language Pathology from ASHA and NYSED - Listening and Spoken Language AVT or AV - Ed certificated, in process, or interest, preferred. Educational experience/training working with children in a therapeutic center based setting and expertise in auditory/oral/verbal methodology in working with children with hearing loss. Strong commitment to a listening spoken language approach and methodology for the development of spoken language skills for children with hearing loss. Effective planning and organizational skills.
