IN PERSON SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS NEEDED FOR 2025/26 SCHOOL YEAR VALLEJO CITY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT FULL TIME Preschool through high school level 1099 contractor Start/end times can also vary depending on start/end times of school sites. SLP's are expected to provide therapy, evaluations and attend meetings $80 per hour 37.5 hours per week Must have active California license Start date August 18 2025 Must have professional liability insurance Paid for all direct and indirect time Duties: - Assess and diagnose speech, language and communication disorders - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children - Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills - Monitor and document progress - Collaborate with other professionals - Provide education and support to children and their families Skills: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of various assessment and treatment techniques - Familiarity with relevant software and technology for documentation purposes As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. You will work closely with preschool aged children and develop individual education plans and provide therapy sessions to improve their speech and language skills.
