Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Rome, NY

Pay: Up to $76/hr

Position Overview:

A well-established healthcare facility in Rome, NY is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week contract. This role involves a diverse caseload across inpatient, outpatient, acute care, sub-acute, and long-term care settings, treating both adult and pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments
• Conduct Video Fluoroscopy Swallow Studies
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy in line with clinical best practices and patient needs
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress
• Collaborate with medical teams to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an SLP
• Current NYS Speech Language Pathology License
• BLS Certification (AHA required)
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification
• Experience with both adult and pediatric populations
• Must be comfortable in acute, sub-acute, inpatient, outpatient, and LTC environments
• Experience with Paragon EHR or similar systems
• Completion of 8 CEU hours during facility orientation required
• First-time travelers with relevant experience will be considered

Schedule:

• Mon–Fri, Full-Time (40 guaranteed hours/week)
• On-call rotation required – every other weekend & holiday coverage
