Specialist - Yale-New Haven Health : Job Details

1. Maintain coordination of patient scheduling, billing, and insurance authorizations within the boutique. 2. Maintain compliance with Yale-New Haven Hospital mandatory training. 3. Required to demonstrate ability to learn and accurately apply scheduling standards to patient population. 4. Required to cross cover team members when appropriate. 5. Ability to triage high call volume. 6. Ability to accurately document patient benefits and conversations within patients? within the patient?s medical record. 7. 7 Continuously perform the following tasks accurately and independently: 7.1 Patient coordination responsibilities including: 7.1.1 Quality review of incoming prescriptions to assure accuracy 7.1.2 Scheduling of 75% of boutique visit either by phone or in person encounters 7.1.3 Accurate billing for medical equipment within 5 business days of patients encounter 7.1.4 Successfully checking in and out of patients for their scheduled visits 7.1.5 Assuring verification of demographic of p...Specialist, Patient Care, Department Leader, Medical Equipment, Healthcare
