Job Overview

The Specialist, DSPV Business Support and Contract Management, will support day-to-day operational activities that contribute to the effective oversight of pharmacovigilance vendor contracts, budget management, and key business processes. This role works closely with internal teams and external partners to support contract execution, financial tracking, and administrative responsibilities within the DSPV function. The Specialist will also support systems, trackers, and process improvements that enhance efficiency, compliance, and collaboration across the business.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the DSPV contract management process, including tracking contract lifecycles, supporting execution of Exhibits, and coordinating renewals in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate invoice submissions, track payments, and assist with vendor-related financial queries through Insmed's Procurement and Finance systems.
  • Support the DSPV budget process, including monitoring expenses, reconciling actuals vs. forecast, and helping prepare budget reports and forecasting input.
  • Maintain contract and budget tracking tools and dashboards to support transparency, oversight, and decision-making.
  • Assist in maintaining DSPV SharePoint folders and other systems used to organize documents and resources related to vendor management and business support.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Procurement, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and other teams to support alignment on business support processes impacting pharmacovigilance.
  • Support internal process documentation and updates related to PV contracts and business operations.
  • Provide support on special projects or initiatives tied to DSPV continuous improvement efforts.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelors degree required; focus in life sciences, business, or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in contract administration, budget tracking, vendor coordination, or pharmacovigilance support.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with procurement and contract management systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and of GCP, ICH guidelines, global drug safety and drug development process, and current US and international pharmacovigilance regulations.
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities quickly while working under tight deadlines.
  • Effective time management and organization skills.
  • Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information with the ability to exercise discretion and show good judgment; honesty, integrity, and trust building behaviors in all dealings is essential and required.
  • Skilled in developing collaborative internal and external relationships.
  • Strong PC experience and demonstrated proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and deliver an excellent product in a fast-paced, and rapidly growing department and company.
  • Must have a high degree of professionalism, and ability to work with limited direction.
  • Self-motivated, with initiative and the ability to take ownership of, and follow through with, specific tasks.
Salary Range

$39 - $52 an hour
