These include planning and construction, facilities, public safety and emergency operations, environmental health and safety, transportation, housing, and auxiliary/retail operations.Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Special Services & Grounds Worker - Housing for the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O). Among the key duties of this position are the following:
  • Performs diversified maintenance and grounds duties involving the preparation of campus facilities and the maintenance of equipment and grounds in multipurpose areas of the University.
  • Operates power equipment and drives University vehicles.

Certifications/Licenses
  • Valid driver's license and two years driving experience.
  • Will be required to successfully complete the Rutgers Defensive Driving Course.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesPreferred Qualifications
  • One year experience in the landscaping industry with knowledge of tools, methods and materials used in grounds maintenance preferred.
