IT'SUGAR is all about joy, laughter, and lighthearted fun. With over 100 locations nationwide, we've transformed the candy store into a bold, colorful, high-energy experience with a playful twist.

Now, something extraordinary is coming to our Times Square flagship—and we can't tell you exactly what it is (yet). What we can say: it's a limited-time, high-energy brand collaboration that will have guests smiling from the moment they arrive. We're looking for dynamic Special Event Hosts to be the welcoming face of the experience, keep the energy high, manage guest flow, and deliver unforgettable moments in a fast-paced, one-of-a-kind setting.

Event Dates: November 2025 - January 2026, including Holidays (dates subject to change)

What You'll Do

You'll be the first hello, the energy in the middle, and the last smile goodbye.

Create an Unforgettable Guest Experience

• Greet guests with a warm, enthusiastic welcome.

• Keep lines moving smoothly—manage guest queues with efficiency and positivity.

• Admit guests into the event space, scan tickets or confirm entry credentials.

• Answer guest questions and provide clear directions with confidence and charm.

• Maintain an upbeat atmosphere while managing crowd energy and flow.

Deliver Exceptional Service

• Distribute and collect event materials/equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.

• Engage guests in conversation, encourage participation, and help them make the most of the event.

• Promote merchandise and encourage purchases during the experience.

• Maintain a clean, organized event space that meets visual standards.

• Operate POS/register to process purchases accurately.

Maximize Event Success

• Suggest ideas to improve the guest experience and streamline operations.

• Assist with set-up, breakdown, and reset of the event space.

• Follow Loss Prevention (LP) policies and report any concerns.

What You'll Need

• 18 years or older.

• 1+ year experience in events, admissions, entertainment, retail, or hospitality (preferred).

• Proven ability to manage guest flow in a fast-paced environment.

• Outgoing personality with a strong public interaction presence.

• High energy, enthusiastic, and approachable demeanor.

• Ability to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Comfortable using POS/register and handling equipment.

• Able to stand and move for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs. (50 lbs. with assistance).

• Performance, acting, music, or dance experience a plus.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
