Job Title: Special Education Teacher Location: Circle Rock, Chicago, IL 60644 Pay Rate: Starting at $45.00 per hour Schedule: Full-Time, 2025 School Year Position Overview Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join the team at Circle Rock in Chicago, IL. This is a full-time position working with 7th and 8th grade students in a split co-taught/direct instruction setting . The role includes a manageable caseload of 1012 students , providing the opportunity to make a direct and meaningful impact on student growth and success. Responsibilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Deliver both co-taught and direct instruction to support academic and behavioral progress. Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers. Monitor student progress and adjust instruction and interventions as needed. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field. Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement.
