POSITION Special Education Teacher - Jerome Harrison Elementary School SALARY Consistent with the Professional Agreement between North Branford Board of Education and the North Branford Federation of Teachers JOB DESCRIPTION Design and implement specialized instruction for academic, behavior, social and functional skills consistent with students' Individual Education Plans Conduct individual assessment and data collection/analysis Participate in a multidisciplinary team to develop educational recommendations Demonstrate leadership in program and IEP development Participate in team meetings, PP - Ts and parent conferences Train and supervise paraprofessionals QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Special Education from an accredited college or university Appropriate special education certification required Previous experience with primary/elementary school students Previous experience providing specialized instruction to students with complex learning profiles including Autis...Special Education, Teacher, Education, Special Ed, Elementary School
