Job SummaryExpected Start Date is on August 18, 2025. Under general supervision, to assist teachers in supervising the classroom and playground activities of children in Special Education classes; to relieve teachers of routine clerical and authorized instructional duties and do related work as required and assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Required: •Education equivalent to completion of 12th grade and successful passage of Instructional Aide test or meet NCLB (No Child Left Behind Act) requirements for paraprofessionals. •Current TB test. •Valid current California Driver's License. •Some positions within the classification may require other specific experience to assist in knowledge and/or skill acquisition. Desirable: •Previous experience interacting with student with special needs in a public school setting. •Valid first aid and CPR card or certificate. This position is part of the Classified Employee Unit at MCUSD/MCOE and will be placed depending on experience on the Classified Employee Salary schedule on Range 14.5.
