Director Of Data & Systems

Reporting directly to the Chief Administration Officer, this position will oversee a multidisciplinary team comprising business systems analysts, data engineers, and data analysts. The Director will ensure effective coordination and delivery of IT and data initiatives. This role involves providing strategic leadership for the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise applications and data systems, while acting as the primary liaison with external IT teams responsible for enterprise architecture, network infrastructure, and core system management. The Director is responsible for aligning technology solutions with agency goals; ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance; and fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams. The Data & Systems team independently manages the development of GIS solutions, business team applications, surveys, and reports to multiple stakeholders. The Director must implement safeguards to ensure teamwork is accurate, dependable, and nimble enough to service evolving programs and policies. Automation and features to integrate multiple data sources are paramount to meeting agency objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree and six years related experience overseeing or managing program operations, including six years supervisory experience. Substitutions: Four years of specialized experience OR an associate's degree and two years of specialized experience may substitute for bachelor's degree. A J.D. or master's degree may substitute for one year of specialized experience, a Ph.D. may substitute for two years of specialized experience. Preferred Qualifications: Five years of supervisory/managerial experience.
