SPD Manager - West Valley Main OR - University of California : Job Details

The SPD Manager is responsible for overseeing all activities related to the decontamination , sterilization, preparation and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment. this role ensures compliance with infection control standards, regulatory requirements and supports efficient surgical operations through effective management of staff, resources and processes.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in an Operating Room (OR) or Sterile Processing environment, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• CIS, CER, CRCST, and CHL certifications preferred.
• Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of infection control practices and sterilization standards.
